If you're a car enthusiast, you know the importance of keeping your car clean. It makes it look good, but it also helps to protect the paint and extend the life of your vehicle. This blog post will show you how to wash and wax your car correctly. So whether you're a beginner or an experienced DIY-er, this post is for you! Let's get started!
The first step is to make sure that you have the right supplies. You'll need car shampoo, a car wash mitt, wax, and a polishing cloth. It's also good to have two buckets (wheels and Wash), some water, and a hose handy.
The next step is to park your car in a shady spot to cool down, which will help prevent the paint from drying out too quickly.
Start with the wheels...
The first step is to start with the wheels. Use a wheel cleaner and a brush to clean them off. Be sure to get in all of the nooks and crannies, and make sure that you rinse them off afterward.
Now it's time to wash the car itself. Pour some car shampoo into one bucket, fill it with water, and mix until it forms suds. Dip your car wash mitt into the bucket and start washing the car from top to bottom. Avoid scratching the paint by using gentle back & forth motions. Rinse off the car wash mitt regularly so that it doesn't become caked in dirt.
Once you've finished washing the car, it's time to wax it. Apply a thin layer of wax using a circular motion, and then let it dry for about five minutes. Once it's dry, buff it off with a polishing cloth.
